A strong atmosphere of triumph for South African death metallers has erupted since social media began streaming pictures of Canada’s Kataklysm cavorting around Cape Town this Wednesday.
The band, who were rumored to be touring to South Africa as early as 2010, have finally made it to South African shores for real and will be performing in Cape Town tonight and in Johannesburg tomorrow. Kataklysm will be joined in both cities by Sacraphyx, South African death metal legends of old, who have finally made good on a promise for their long-awaited reunion tour. Further support in Cape Town will be offered by Bleeding Spawn from Middleburg, and the city’s very own Suiderbees who are performing for the first time in 2014. The Johannesburg show will also include Wrust from neighbouring Botswana, plus Gauteng locals Bile Of Man.
If you’ve been holding off to the last minute, it does not get more real than this! Visit the official facebook event pages for Cape Town and Johannesburg right away to find out about ticketing, times, and location.
